Isaac Hull, a realtor at Valley Realty Associates since 2015 and a lifelong resident of Virginia, discovered his passion for sales at an early age. During a break from college, he took a job selling cars at a Harrisonburg dealership and found that he enjoyed sales and stayed in the industry for ten years. Isaac left the car business in 2005 to take a job as a mortgage lender and found that it just wasn’t his cup of tea. Little did he know that he would soon discover a new passion- one that would direct the next part of his career journey. During his time as a loan officer, he purchased a home with his father to sell and renovate. At the time, he knew nothing about construction or renovation. Still, his father, who owned a construction and cabinet-making company when they lived in Northern Virginia, felt confident in their ability to do the job. So, they jumped in. Isaac learned as he went, and the project was a great success, and the response from the community about the house and their work was nothing short of amazing. A testament to Isaac’s willingness to step outside his comfort zone and do what needed to be done. It took two years to find the next project, but, again, the response was positive, and over the last ten years, Isaac and his father created Rocktown Ventures, LLC and have purchased, renovated, and sold between one and four houses a year. It’s this unique background and experience that Isaac brings to all his clients. He understands all facets of the real estate business; whether it’s navigating the way for first-timers or trying to score that perfect distressed property, he knows and has experienced it all. Outside of work, Isaac enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling, and kayaking. He also believes strongly in giving back to his community and currently sits on the City of Harrisonburg Planning Commission. Although Isaac currently lives in Harrisonburg with his two rescue dogs, Hank and Gibbs, his second home is the beach- any beach—and he spends time each winter on the shores of Puerto Rico. ;
