Great housing for students
1/2/25
I will recommend the Mill 100% for many things ranging from the comfort of the apartment to the efficiency of its management team. The Mill is close to JMU campus, has a descent enviroment, and if you end up with great roommates, you would have nothing to complain about. The management responds promptly to maintenance requests and communicate timely when there are any disruptions.
The renovations in the summer of 2023 made everything more awesome.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
8/30/23
DO NOT RENT!!! Management states that they do inspections prior to move-in and roommate matching.
The first apartment they offered, the tenant was openly using drugs. The second apartment they offered the tenant had let their dog urinate and defecate all over the common area of the apartment.
The entire complex is in disrepair. Dirty, run-down, with trash in the grass and bottles in the parking lot. When you bring these items to their attention, they just offer more of the same. AVOID THIS... PLACE!!!!!

Horrible

Apartments come furnished and it would be preferred if not. Mattresses are uncomfortable- asked to be switched and second just as bad. We asked them to remove and we will purchase a mattress and they refuse. Every-time kids sit on couch, pieces of final stick to their legs. Dog poop everywhere outside! Regret signing the lease!
